Nia is a personal development & physical fitness program that combines dance, martial arts, yoga and healing arts to create a holistic, safe and life inspiring workout. Nia helps individuals meet a wide range of therapeutic, wellness, fitness, lifestyle and personal growth-needs. The Nia camp is a ten week program with a very intimate and personalized touch. It will be conducted in a safe, nonjudgmental, caring and supportive environment. The camp will include: meditation, Nia routines, and workshop labs. Nia is good for those seeking: weight loss and proper weight management, relieving stress, shaping and toning the body, improving posture and increasing height, strengthening the immune system, developing/refining their rhythm, greater self awareness & image and a low impact, yet effective workout.

What is Nia?
Nia is a mind, body spirit exercise program that combines dance, martial arts, yoga and healing arts to create a well rounded, safe and life inspiring workout. The craft and technique of Nia involves a variety of movements, speeds, styles, ranges of motion and energy dynamics. Nia helps individuals meet a wide range of therapeutic, wellness, fitness, lifestyle and personal growth-needs. Participants join for many reasons: 1) physical toning, shaping, 2) a greater awareness of themselves & confidence 3) spiritual and emotional awakening, 4) to cure physical, emotional, and mental challenges, 5) decrease stress . 6) to look good and feel sexy, 7) to dance with life and bring in the joy 8) need a workout that’s easy on the body.

Farcia is a health educator, professional African dancer, Certified Nia instructor and founder of the Natural Rhythm Healing Hut, a massage and movement therapy company located in San Leandro Ca. Natural rhythm provides bodywork , dance therapy and many other activities that support healthy living. Farcia is a dynamic guide and she regularly conducts personal training & growth sessions as well as retreats and women circles. Farcia incorporates her African healing dance back ground with her Nia and believes they are great tools to bring the body, mind, spirit and soul to all of our living experiences. (all movements are achievable and leveled for beginners to advanced)
